Everyday, we are reminded of the planetary issues that put our future and the species that we cohabitate with at risk. Due to the alarming increase of global warming and other factors, the existence of certain animals is consequently reduced. This also destabilizes entire ecosystems resulting in catastrophic consequences.

The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)is a global authority on the status of the natural world and employs important measures needed to protect it. Through their Save Our Species partnership, they have coordinated frontline initiatives worldwide in order to help ensure the long-term survival of certain threatened species, their habitats, and the people who depend on them.

Lacoste has proudly joined the cause to help combat the extinction crisis by championing ten of the most threatened species in the world. What they have done is replaced their iconic crocodile logo with the endangered species they have selected. The number of polos produced corresponds to the remaining population of that animal, as estimated by IUCN species experts.

Should you decide to purchase a polo, all of the proceeds will be put towards to supporting conservation efforts.
